Description:
Excellent condition overall for its vintage.  Model of 1879 with breechblock marked U.S. Model of 1873.  The "Buffington" rear sight appears to be a replacement for the original Buckhorn style.  The SWP 1884 acceptance stamp is on the left side of stock.  Good color case hardening still showing on breechblock and tang.
