This is a great example of the gun the won the West.... Winchester 1873 .44-40 round barrel, full magazine.....ANTIQUE
This rifle has the majority of it's original bright factory blue on the receiver. Barrel & mag have mixture of original blue going to plum... some limited blotchy areas but far above average. Good markings.
24" round barrel with a far above average bright shiny bore. Most screws untouched, left sideplate screwhead buggered with circular gouging around screwhead on the side plate.
Nice factory sights. Wood is very nice, sound, unsanded, no cracks or holes. Traces of original varnish remain. Far far above the norm for an antique 1873. Nice figure in the bottom of the forend.
