Description:
A PARKER GH serial number 72310, made in 1892, with 30 inch damascus barrels choked R-full and L-modified. Weight is 8 pounds. It appears that a small dent was removed about 3 1/2 inches from the muzzle of the left barrel, which was then honed to clean it up, resulting in the anomaly in the choke dimensions. The barrels are about .001" off face, and this can easily be corrected by a competent gunsmith. The wood is fine, with fairly standard Parker dimensions for the period - LoP 14 1/4, drop at heel 3, and drop at comb 1 13/16. The receiver shows about 20% faded case colors, and the barrels retain virtually all of their lovely damascus pattern. It does have a fish-tail top lever, fairly unusual in a hammerless Parker.
