This is a Remington Model 17 pump shotgun made in Oct 1923. The gun is in very good for its age. It has a 28 inch barrel with a full choke. The Remington Model 17 was designed by John Browning. Remington made the 17 from1921 to 1933. The design was sold to Ithaca and became the Ithaca Model 37. Unlike the Ithaca 37 the Remington 17 was only made in 20 gauge. They are getting hard to find in this condition. This shotgun can be used as a nice lightweight hunting gun or could go into your collection.
