Description:
The action is crisp and tight holds half cock via small spring loaded pin so fire pin  will not rest on live round un till released by pulling hammer all the way back, you are now ready to fire. I put a 32 rim fire western shell in in and took to the back yard and fired it  ,,,,,it is sweet.....the finish is 98% original fadding blue with scattered freckling through out. the receiver address  is sharp  and reads well ...says " Frank Wesson worster mass  Patent 1873
the edges of the octogon barrel are sharp and just starting to silver on the edges. The bore is bright and shiny with very medium rifeling and bright shine. does show black powder etch in the grooves has enough rifeling to spin a bullet so it will not tumble in flight and will be more accurate.  the rose wood grips are lovely no chips no cracks  90% original varnish. the 4 digit serial number matches the last 2 numbers on the stock which is also nickle plated and retains over 96% of original nickle. over all a very disirable and pretty  wesson pocket   circa 1873........I have fired this is accurate at 76 yards the shell extractor works fine most that ive seen are rust fozen shut.. this one slides very nice..........this is reasonably priced and can be shipped to your front door  i ship to the world and accept bank wire transfer............or US postal money order
