WINCHESTER 1895 LEVER ACTION RIFLE, 405 Win., 24" barrel, LOP 13 1/4" over flat buttplate, 4 + 1 capacity, top tang safety, spur hammer, adjustable buckhorn rear sights & blade front sight.
This is the base gun for the Teddy Roosevelt commemorative set. Semi-gloss blue finish is used for the receiver, barrel, cocking mechanism and buttplate. Straight grain California walnut, chosen for strength is used for the straight grip stock and Schnabel forearm (small dent on left side stock back of lever). Like New.
