Description:
Original antique SHARPS 4 barrel pistol. Cal .30 rimfire. These little pistols mfg 1859-1874. Rotating firing pin on hammer revolves when hammer is cocked to fire cartridge. Firing pin mechanics fine. Brass frame marked on left side; C. SHARPS PATENT 1859. Right side of frame is marked; C. SHARPS & CO. PHILADA, PA. Barrel group rifled and has age patina. Grips are brown in color with diamond checked pattern. Grips are very good and fit perfectly. Brass frame has age patina. Very nice condition original American antique pistol. Sold as collector's item, not warranted safe to fire.
