Description:
SALE PENDING
Remington 32TC 12 gauge O/U shotgun made circa 1934.  This gun has the original 32” vent rib barrels with correct .728” bores and choked full/full, .030” & .030”.  This gun is fitted with a 2nd set of barrels; these made by Simmons of Kansas City.  They are 26” vent rib barrels and choked exactly the same as the 32” factory barrels: full/full.  It has factory double triggers, which were standard at the time, and the safety has been set in a non-operative mode as was common with trap guns!  The stock and forearm were replaced at some time with absolutely gorgeous wood and fitted perfectly.  The stock dimensions are:  14 ½” LOP over a Remington pad; 1 3/8” DAC, 1 3/8” DA Monte carlo, 2 1/16” DAH with neutral cast.  I have no idea who engraved the gun.  It is engraved in a oak leaf/rose motif with a dog on each side in gold and a bust of a dog in gold on the bottom.  The frame and hood seem to have been coin finished or nickeled!  It is an attractive gun in excellent mechanical condition, notice the desired “gap” between the hood and the rib indicating many years of shooting life left!  Otherwise the barrel blue is 98%, the stock finish is 98% and the frame finish is 85% (or so).  9 lbs. 3 oz. with the 32” barrels.
