Description:
Serial #30889, .410 bore over .25-20, 24 1/8? barrels with bright, excellent bores. This is a graceful little gun that has lovely proportions and retains 80-85% of the original blue finish on the barrels with some mild fading along the high edges and some scattered spots of dark plum-brown freckling, heaviest towards the muzzle on the right side. The Greifelt marked frame has a similar amount of the original vivid color case-hardening remaining with similar spots of plum-brown freckling scattered throughout, and much of the original bright blue remaining on the trigger guard. The checkered walnut three-piece forend and rounded pistol grip buttstock have numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes throughout under an old added oil finish, with some mild flattening of the checkering points, and small ?MADE IN GERMANY? stamp along the belly as well. The stock has a length of pull that measures 13 1/2? to the original grooved black hard rubber buttplate, and has drops of 1 1/4? and 2 1/2? respectively. The gun has tight lock-up and is in fine condition overall. This is a splendid VL&D marked Greifelt and would make super gun for small game. FFL or C&R
