* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Peabody Contract Rifle, manufactured by Providence Tool Co., cal. 50 Centerfire, 33" barrel with a nice bore, metal surfaces retain about 90% of a possible re-blued mottled finish with some light overall handling wear, the walnut stocks rate excellent with a few light dings but nothing alarming, the buttstock has a circled "WC" inspectors mark, there are no other unit marks or markings other than a number "11" stamped on the heel of the buttplate, comes with its original cleaning rod, overall a nice Peabody Rifle in very good condition.
