Sold Pending Funds / Colt Slide Action Saddle Ring Carbine, serial # 3226, cal. 44 WCF. This is the early first model that was produced with no dust cover. Has a 20" barrel with standard markings and a good but shallow pitted bore, but nothing that's drastic or alarming. The metal retains 80%+ light blue turning to brown patina. Has the original saddle ring in place. It has the correct flip up ladder rear sight. This gun has a nice buttstock and checkered forearm in the correct carbine configuration. The action functions flawlessly. Overall as described this piece is in good plus - good plus plus condition. Inv.: # 22-165
