Cal 38-55. Oct bbl, full length mag tube and crescent buttplate. Overall this gun does look good and has quite a bit of frontier flare. The forearm on the left hand side has tremendous amount of saddle wear. This gun was packed by some cowboy for many miles of trail. Gun is mostly a grey color with surprisingly smooth metal. Bbl has good markings and is a pleasing antique brown color. Buttstock still fits pretty good and looks okay. Everyone thinks Winchester when you think of the Wild West but there were a lot of Marlins and other fine guns that made there way across the Frontier. This was one of them.
