The legendary handling and quickness of the Model 70 Featherweight is justly famous among hunters everywhere. This Model 70 action offers the Pre-’64 style Controlled Round Feeding, and a Three-Position Safety. This original Featherweight features the angled comb Grade I walnut stock with satin finish with elegant cut checkering.
This rifle is used, but it remains in good original condition. has some signs of light rust throughout but most of the bluing is still intact on receiver and barrel. It has seen some hunting use but the bore is bright and pit free and all mechanics are still in excellent condition. The original sights are present. This will make an excellent vintage Winchester to hunt with while it keeps increasing in value. The serial number on the gun dates its year of manufacture as 1958. Pictures are of actual firearm, and the best representation of what you will receive.
