All original 1873 in very good condition. 24" full octagon barrel retains much original bluing. Adjustable rear buck horn sight and front blade sight.Bore is very good with slight dulling but with strong rifling. I had a gunsmith inspect the bore and those where the words he used. He also said absolutely shootable!
Receiver has about 60% original finish with a few minor scratches and handling marks. Dust cover intact as is the brass elevator. Rifle cycles smoothly and action locks up tight. Hammer spring is very strong.Wood is in very good condition as is the crescent steel butt plate. Overall in very good condition, a nice honest original rifle made in 1889.Please note, there are a few minor scratches in the stock that may look like cracks in the photo's but I assure you there are NO cracks.Please contact me with any questions.
