Description:
This is a first model with the very small slide action forearm. Serial number 412. 12 ga with 30" bbl. Spencer Arms led the way in the repeating shotgun field. They are scarce and collectable. This is a higher grade shotgun with some engraving on it. Spencer was always noted for it's high quality firearms. This one is no exception. Action does work but is slightly stiff with age. Bore has scattered light pitting and roughness throughout but is bright. Overall cond would be good. Wood is very nice. Good fitting. Even has the orig buttplate which is not cracked. There is numerous dings and use marks. Forearm checkering is all worn off but wood is in good shape with no cracks or losses. A VG collectable shotgun.
