Description:
this is lovely colt 1849 revolver with crisp action correct timming and tight lock up. the barrel finish at 60%shows thining irradescent blue in the sunlight . The 4 inch octagon barrel shows crisp edges. the London address is sharp and can be read with the naked eye. All numbers match including the wedge upon inspection of the cylinder it has all its pins and they stick up and are not all worn a way. the walnut wood grips do show scrapes and bruises of the last 150 plus years but no crack or chips.....this has the iron back strap and trigger guard. the load lever is numberd and is a match see the original vivid case colors... the cylinder shows stage coach roll engraving is vivid and sharp..I also inspected the bore i brushed with a brass brush and cotton patch........shows deep grooves with sharp lands......with some black powder skid marks is also bright and shiny...........over all this is a solid higher condition London pocket 1849............ca 1853...........is antique please note only 11000 produced in london......this ship to your front door with no goverment involvement........also ships to the world......
