Description:
S# K5299, 22 LR, 25.2 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This is a 1910 dated Enfield built No 1 MKIII. The top of the breech is NZ inventory marked, ,1091 as is the bolt. The rifle is stamped N.Z. on both sides of the socket. The right side shows a struck off inventory #4035. The stock disk reads "7/41 NZ 4452" and bolt head is correctly marked "22 No2". Receiver retains 65% blue fading to brown. Nose cap and magazine show a brown patina. Wood shows use with typical marks and remains sound . Rifle comes with an original tan canvas service sling.
