Description:
S#512400, 32 W.C.F., 24 inch barrel , bright excellent bore. This 1897 produced rifle was ordered with half mag, round barrel and shotgun butt. It was returned for repair in December 1914. Rifle remains in excellent condition with 70% blue. Barrel shows streaky loss, typical of blood damage from soiled hands. receiver has oxidation stains with brilliant blue below. lever shows traces of case colors with balance silvered with light staining. Hammer shows strong case colors. Wood fits well and had extra finish wiped on long ago. This fine 1873 comes with a Cody zip sheet confirming dates and special features. Antique
