Steyr Hahn (Nazi) M.1911 Semi Auto Pistol, serial # 8739 h matching, cal. 9mm Luger, manufactured 1915, 5” barrel with a very good bore, this is a German occupation pistol noted by the “08” stamped on the right slide, The “German designation for this pistol was “Pistole Mod 12(o).” Pistol retains 80%+ thinning blue with scattered freckling along with browning to the grip straps, areas of the slide and frame show a light pinprick pitting but nothing that’s alarming. The trigger guards right side is stamped Wn eagle 15 and a little further back an eagle swastika with "L", also above the right grip is stamped "CAK 28 6", left side of lanyard loop "K" plus "SW 9154" (but the "9" is very faint) right side has "8739". The wood grips rate good with some wear, these Nazi “08” pistols are scarce and this one is in overall good plus plus condition as noted.
