Description:
Serial #3227945, .30-06, 24" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves at the breech. This is a World War II Remington-made rifle with a 9-42 dated "RA" barrel and retains 95-97% of the post-war armory added parkerized finish that has some small areas of silvering at the muzzle and along a few of the exposed edges and bearing surfaces. The handguard and stock have minor handling marks and surface blemishes under an armory added oil finish that has left the original “FJA" and Ordnance Dept. crossed cannons no longer visible, however the post-war “RA-P” Raritan Arsenal proof crisp and clear. This is a nice armory refurbished World War II '03 that is in fine condition. FFL or C&R
