WINCHESTER PRE 64 TRANSITION MODEL 70 IN .220 SWIFT #85xxx with a bright excellent bore retains fully 98% of its original factory blue, including the floorplate and trigger guard! The steel buttplate retains 96% of its original blue. The action features the clover leaf tang and transition safety and the bolt is correctly numbered to the gun. The stock retains all of its original varnish and exhibits a few scattered handling marks, overall in 97% condition. This low comb stock is the early contour with the fully formed oval pistol grip end and 20 LPI checkering which remains pronounced and undamaged. There is a Redfield Jr. scope base attached to factory drilled and tapped mounting holes. The rear sight had been cut to filler dimensions
