Description:
This excellent example of a Model 63 was built in 1950. This is one of the finest condition Model 63's that I have ever encountered. The bore is mint in the 23" Barrel. Gun retains 95%+ metal condition with deep blue to the entire barrel, receiver and checkered steel butt blate. Does not appear to show any carry wear to the all original metal finish. Barrel script and proof marks are very crisp and original, and sight package is correct. Serial numbers match on both halves of this takedown rifle. Both sides of the receiver are clear and void of amy marks or alterations, which is increasingly rare on this model. Nicely figured wood stocks show only normal handling marks for 65 years of use.
