Description:
This Model 61 slide action shoots the 22 S,L, and LR interchangably. This is a high condition Model 61 that has the factory grooved receiver and was built in 1958. The metal condition would rate 90+ condition with a few knicks from 57 years of normal field use. The blue is original to the gun and doesn't show much if any carry loss. Pic. of the right side of the receiver is not as bad as the high quality camera makes it out to be. Barrel script and proof marks are sharp and crisp. There is a small mark on the barrel that is pictured, but again not that bad. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Stocks have had the original varnish professionally removed and restored with little or no sanding involved. The wood is proud to all the metal parts and is smooth as glass with no imperfections.
