I bought this here piece bout 15 years ago for $5K. Finally got around to asking Colt for a letter of authentication which turned out to be a waste of money. Course I always knowed that there record keeping wernt perfect but this one sure proved it. It said the gun shipped from the factory as a standard New Service. Well, this here gun has a target frame and there aint a Bubba in the USA that can turn a regular revolver into a flat top Target. This here gun is in excellent plus shape as you can tell from the pictures. Course theres a 3 day inspection.
