15-39 English Flintlock Blunderbuss
15-39 A Very good Flintlock Blunderbuss w/Spring Bayonet, circa. 1760-1770, Octagon to round 14 ½” Blunderbuss Barrel with flared canon muzzle, and marked with British proofs. A spring loaded flip bayonet w/sliding release is mounted on the top of the barrel. Engraved brass furniture with Acorn on brass in front of trigger guard. Stock is solid w/normal scratches and dings from years of service and several hairline cracks with iron pins inserted to strengthen the stock; 30 ½” Overall length. In good working order. (15-39)
