Thys - Liege: A Constantine V Deluxe Marcel Thys Back Action Sidelock Ejector 470 Nitro Express Made in 1986, It has 26 3/8" Ejector Chopper Lump barrels, Hidden third bite, Bushed strikers, 1/4 rib with 1 standing & 2 folding rear sights, Double triggers with the front articulated, Bolstered frame, Extended top tang over the comb, Trigger guard tang to a trapdoor grip cap, A very nice piece of European walnut with great color and contrast, Shadowline cheekpiece, Double screw tiedown sling eyes on both the barrel and stock, A slight beavertail forend with a lever release, It is 15 1/4" L.O.P. over a full face checkered butt, 9 lbs 13 oz., 98% coverage of very accurate fine scroll engraving, The frame retains 99% original case colors. The barrels retain 99% of the original blue, The original stock finish is at 96-97% with a few handling marks, The checkering is at 100%, The bore condition is excellent plus and both look like the day they left the factory in 1986. The whole is cased in a brass cornered Oak & Leather trunk with the maker's trade label. This piece has all the appearance of never being fired and it looks like it never went hunting except in someone's trophy room.
