Description:
This is a Winchester 1873 rifle in .38 WCF that was manufactured in 1903. The action and lever show Good to Very Good patina with some handling marks and minor pitting. The 24 inch octagon barrel and the magazine tube show Good to Very Good patina again with some handling marks and minor pitting. The bore is dark with visible rifling. The rear flat top sight appears to be a replacement. The wood is in Good to Very Good condition with good wood to metal fit. The metal is slightly proud at the bottom of the crescent steel buttplate. There are traces of lacquer remaining on the butt stock.
