Churchill whom was famous for his high standards in gun making. Later the firm was handed over to his nephew Robert who wrote the book "How to shoot" and promoted the 25" barrel length which is still popular with some today. The versatility of this gun having the long barrels and the shorter barrels for woodcock and grouse and skeet make this an ideal shotgun for many hunters and clay shooters.
