Description:
1797 flint lock musket made for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Type 1 made 1797 and 1798 only. All original. Lock is marked CP forward of hammer and IB on the inside. Lock functions well. Stock is full length walnut with one small repair at buttplate on left side. Barrel is 44" and is .69 caliber with a clear bore. Breech is marked with Liberty cap and P in large oval and CP. over all condition is very good plus. Original bands and ramrod. No Regimental markings. A real piece of American history.
