Description:
.45-70 caliber, 32" barrel secured by two bands. Hammerless falling block action finished blue. Walnut forend and buttstock with the "J.P. LOWER" storekeepers stamp on the right flat near the butt. The barrel and receiver retain nearly all of the original blue finish. Excellent wood with only minor handling marks. Good bore and rifling.
