Offered for your consideration is this fine Smith & Wesson .32 Regulation Police revolver in 98% condition. This early S&W is about as close to new in the box as I have seen in a long time. The hammer and trigger retain full coverage of brilliant case colors. All edges are sharp and crisp, no edge wear with the exception of just a hint of blueing wear around the muzzle and ejector rod, and one small flake on the left side edge of the top strap. The grips are near perfect, checkering is sharp with no dents. There are two small dents on the bottom edges. The patent date "PAT JUNE 5 1917" marking on the bottom left grip is sharp and the serial number is correctly marked inside the grip. Overall this S&W shows little evidence it was ever fired - truly in beautiful condition!
This S&W has been in one family all these years. It was purchased new by Dennis Link shortly after his return from service in WW1. He served as a Sergeant in 7 major campaigns in France and Germany during the Great War.
