This is a nice example of an early pre war hump back hammer heavy dute. A gun invented to shoot the Super Police 38 which eventually became the .357 magnum. This example is factory nickel and retains at least 97% original factory nickel finish with some minor bubbling of finish on receiver. Mint bore and action. Small gold medallion pre war checkered walnut grips. Pat. date on back of hammer that retains most of the original case colors. These pre war big N frame hand ejectors have smooth as silk actions. Mfg 1930-40
