Description:
Serial #2268f, 9mm Para., 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1917 dated pistol that has all matching numbers, with the exception of the magazine, and retains 90-95% of the original blue finish that has silvered and faded at the muzzle as well as along the high and exposed edges. Additionally, there are some spots of plum-brown freckling scattered about, and a few very minute spots of freckling on the gripstraps. The trigger, take-down lever, magazine release, safety, and ejector retain about 80% of the original straw color with the balance of the metal having a slightly frosted and freckled gray appearance. The checkered wooden grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and are in fine-excellent shape having only a few very minor handling marks and minimal flattening of the points. A single, non-matching wood base magazine is included, and this is a fine-near excellent (and very handsome) late war Luger that would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
