Description:
S# 434964, 38-55, 26 inch barrel, good bore with strong rifling and even erosion. This 1908 built rifle retains about 30% blue with a developing brown patina. barrel wears original sights and mag tube band slightly loose in slot. Wood shows typical dents and small gouges from long service with a little extra oil wiped on long ago. A Lyman No. 1 second variation tang sight is mounted, it matches receiver finish and works smoothly. FFL or C+R
