Chambered in 52 caliber with its original 32 5/8 inch barrel with 3 pin fastened barrel bands. Original button head ramrod with the original threads at the end. This fine Hall rifle remains in original condition. The return spring on the breech block spur release is either missing or broken, it moves freely...an easy repair for the gunsmith. The stock is solid with no repairs or alterations of any kind. The trigger release, half cock and full cock all remain strong with solid and crisp clicks and a super strong mainspring. The bore is dark and dusty but strong rifling is still present. This rifle looks like it sat untouched since the Civil War and exhibits all its original patina and has never been cleaned including the stock.
