#311141, Winchester Model 97 "Black Diamond" Trap Gun, Original 2 Barrel Set in 12 Bore Made in 1907, 26" & 30" barrels with matching serial numbers, The 26" barrel at .730 .000" (Cyl.), Factory marked Cyl., Factory 2 5/8" chamber, The 30" barrel at .728 .032" (Full), Factory marked Full, Factory 2 5/8" chamber, Non-ribbed barrels but each with a Marbles 2" sight block that was patented in 1907 as well and is secured by the magazine tube hanger, Checkered round forends, Factory checkered straight hand stock at 14 x 1 13/16 x 2 1/4" over the original buttplate with the Winchester name and WRAC Mark, 7 Lbs. 8 Oz. with the 26" barrels and 7 Lbs. 10 Oz. with the 30", Deluxe wood with point pattern checkering, Inlaid black diamond at the head of the stock, The blue on both barrels at 90%, The receiver blue at 80%, The trigger guard blue 20%, The wood is solid as a rock & is 82-84%, The original checkering at 85%, The bores are excellent plus & not a pit to be had, The gun remains in excellent mechanical condition. Here is a highly unusual Model 97 with 2 original barrels, special deluxe wood, straight hand and checkered. A 1907 Deluxe "Black Diamond" Grade with original bores, chokes and chambers. This is nice stuff relative wood, English stock and 2 barrels. Above the matching serial number on the receiver it has a "D" marked.
