Description:
Excellent NRA marked fancy wood grips. Very elaborately engraved with a well executed scroll. Numerous gold inlaid motifs such as a line around the cylinder. The frame, top of the back strap as well as the bottom of the strap and the trigger guard are embellishd with rose colored gold inlays. Very nicely done. The numbers "1871-1971 NRA Centennial" are also gold inlaid. I don't know who the engraver was but he did a very nice job. Gun is re-finished at the time of engraving. Frame has turned a hint of plum to the color. Bbl and cylinder have all the bright vivid blue remaining. Good looking gun!
