Description:
Beautifully engraved with quite elaborate coverage. Typical English scroll. Colt's patent is done in the banner shield pattern. Square back brass trigger guard which retains 10-20% orig silver. Overall metal is sharp and clean with just a few minor pits. Good traces of case color in protected area. Cylinder retains about 25% of the orig scene. Overall gun is very attractive. All orig with matching numbers. Grips have a small chip out of the right hand side and could easily be fixed. This gun is pictured on page 127 of the Colt Engraving book by R.L. Wilson. A fine gun!
