Description:
SOLD... Near excellent Smith & Wesson New Model 1 ½. .32 RF caliber. Here is a great looking Smith & Wesson 2nd model or New Model 1 ½. Caliber is the . 32 rim fire. S/N 101767.. Has the standard 3 ½" barrel. This gun appears to be a full nickel plated issue as the hammer and the trigger are nickel plated. I see no signs of a re finish any where. The barrel has 90% original nickel finish and just missing a small are of flaked finish in front of the cylinder. The frame has 95%+ and just missing a couple very small flakes at the hinge only. The cylinder has about 85%. The hammer and trigger retain 100% finish. The markings are all excellent and nothing blurred or dished out to show any signs of a re finish at all. The hammer still has excellent and sharp checkering. NO dished out screw or pin holes at all either. The grips are excellent and numbered to the gun. Still show most all the original varnish. Has one tiny little ding or scuff mark on the bottom of the right panel as you can see in the photo. They are a perfect factory fit. The mechanics are excellent. A very crisp and tight gun. NO wobble at the hinge as you usually always see on this model. It is rock solid with NO play. The barrel latch to the frame is also tight as new. The screws are all excellent and not all burred up. The bore and chambers are very good with just minor roughness from being fired with black powder. Just a beautiful little Smith that I believe was full nickel plated as there is absolutely no signs of a re finish to me at all. I will price as such and if you buy it and see different, you will get a full refund plus all your shipping. $15 insured priority mail.
