SOLD A fine pre-war Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action rifle made in 1940 with a Stith scope mount and a Weaver 330 2.5X Rifle scope with a standard crosshair. This is an all matching rifle with great original blueing on the metal and a fine stock in original factory varnish with no repair or alterations. The bore remains excellent with strong sharp rifling. The extractor still has all the original factory blue present. No extra holes and nothing has been altered or repaired. Original steel checkered butt plate. The Stith mount is mounted in the factory receiver sight holes on the rear left side and on the rear sight dovetail on the front. When mounted to the shoulder this scope system gets on target really fast because of the low and center mounting. The lenses on the scope are clear and bright with no issues.
