SALE PENDING A fine and rare Colt SAA 1st Gen. Revolver chambered in the scarce .44 Special cartridge. Factory blue & case colored with a 5 1/2 inch barrel that remains in 98%+ condition. The trigger guard, backstrap and hammer were re-blued at some point...a very professional job. The frame, cylinder and barrel are in original factory finish. All matching including the cylinder, trigger guard, grip frame and barrel either have the last 4 digits or the complete serial number. The barrel address has the broken "O" in Hartford as it should. Matching assembly numbers on rear of frame and the loading gate. The beautiful 1st cut stag grips appear to be factory with a wonderful patina and a perfect fit. The bore and cylinders are perfect and shiny with not a hint of corrosion. Mechanically perfect just as it left the factory in 1938. These are missing in most advanced Colt SAA collections...only 506 of these originally produced. This Colt will be shipped from FFL to FFL or C&R
