#47025, Army & Navy C.S.L., London: A 470 Nitro Express Double Rifle Built on the Great Webley Long-Bar Action, Made in 1907, 28" Extractor Chopper Lump Barrels with a Rib Extension Dolls Head plus Third Bite, Nitro proved at 75 cordite with a 500 grain bullet, Full length rib with 1 standing & 2 folding rear sights, Double triggers, Bushed strikers, Nice wood, No cheekpiece, Steel grip cap, Sling eyes, Lever release forend, 14 1/8" LOP over a 1" Silvers pad, 10 lbs. 12 oz., No engraving, This piece was completely refinished, Since the total refinish it retains 98% blue, The butt and forend at 98%, The checkering at 99%, The strongest point to this gun is the bores that remain excellent and with sharp rifling the entire way, This is a stout rifle that certainly has a lot of life left for the 21st century in a great cartridge with excellent bores and built around the superb Webley action.
