Description:
Serial #6004k, 9mm Para., 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is 1918 dated pistol with sear safety that has matching numbers on all of the component parts (the hold-open was armory renumbered to match) and retains 95-97% of the armory blue finish applied during the rework. There is some mild silvering at the muzzle as well as along the high edges and projections with additional gray fading along the grip straps. All markings including the Waffenamt proofs are still crisp and the edges are still sharp. A small and unobtrusive import stamp is present on the underside of the barrel and the checkered wooden grips are unnumbered on the interior and have only minor handling marks and flattening of the points on either side. The pistol is accompanied by a single blued, wood-base magazine that is numbered to a different gun. This is an excellent example of a period Luger police rework and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
