*** SOLD *** Handsome Bonehill hammergun with great case coloring, nicely figured Damascus barrels and low rebounding hammers that when cocked are below the shooter’s line of sight. The action can be opened with the hammers cocked. Nicely engraved and in very good mechanical condition. Recently refurbished. Tight on face. Weight is 6lb 9oz. *** The 28” nitro Damascus barrels are chambered for 2-1/2" cartridges and have extractors and a cross hatched pigeon style rib marked “C G Bonehill Maker Birmingham”. Right barrel is bored 0.731 with 0.001 constriction for Cylinder choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.028. Left barrel is bored 0.732 with a constriction of 0.30 for Improved Modified choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.030. There are several spots of minor pitting in the right barrel but otherwise the bores of both barrels are shiny and bright. *** The stock, made of straight grained walnut, has a swept back Prince of Wales pistol grip and splinter forearm. Stock dimensions are 14” to a thin butt plate by 1-1/2” by 2-1/8”. Cast off for right hand shot. *** This is a sturdy hammergun at a very affordable price. Great for clays or game. You will not be disappointed with the condition of this hammer double. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges.
