Description:
S# M59160, 12 GA 2 3/4 inch, 26 inch vent rib barrel, skeet choke, bright excellent bore. This shotgun was built from 1974 to 1981. Gun is fitted with a mail order replacement barrel with matte rib, double beads and no set screw. Receiver is roll engraved. Metal surfaces retain 90% blue with a few small spots of corrosion at forend tip on right side, a line of active rust along right rear edge of receiver and corrosion on pistol grip cap. The fancFFLy grain select skeet style stocks have a length of pull of 14 1/2 inches with drop of 1 3/8 and 2 1/8 inches. right side of butstock shows severe crazing and finish loss with black streaks in the wood. This appears to be caused by "Salt Wood" , a result of drying wood blanks with salt. This wood is most often seen on browning, but is also noted on other makers guns and is almost always fancy grain wood. FFL
