Description:
An outstanding, all original Colt Single Action mfg in 1876 (US Centennial) 45 long Colt, 7 1/2" barrel. Gray patina with freckling and a little old original blue in the flutes. Markings are all sharp and clear incl. the 45cal. at left rear trigger guard. Matching serial numbers #32385; trigger guard, frame, backstrap, cyl, and barrel. . Colt letter (included) confirms configuration and shipped to Cincinnati, Ohio, 1876. Bore is good, no pitting; correct 2nd style ejectory housing with bullseye ejector head.. Hammer is original and correct. Action is fine ( all notches are firm). Slight cyl movement in battery, but natural for it's age. No varnish remains on worn and shrunk grips. Some serial numbers can be detected on the back of the walnut grips. Assembly numbers match. An investment and historical gem. Originally shipped to Cincinnati, but found at an old ranch in west Kansas. No doubt the Colt was involved in Indian confrontations and cattle wars of the 1870's and 1880's. The old Colt has ben used but not abused over it's long life. This Colt will double or triple in value in 5 years at this low price. No FFL, pre 1897. 3 day inspection. May return if not satisfied for 90% of sale price refund. Buyer pays all shipping. $60 shipping and insurance cost for US priority mail in the lower 48.   Please ask questions. No credit cards; sorry.
