Description:
This is a very rare and hard to find Ithaca/Lefevre Nitro Special that has Military markings. The barrel flats have both Cross Cannons and a Flaming Bomb and are also marked R.L.B. There is also a number on the side of the wood but it is hard to see. The receiver is 100% Germanic engraved in an Oak leaf pattern with stippling throughout. The engraving is not signed but is done very well. The screws are all indexed correctly. The wood has been refinished and is in excellent condition. The 32 Inch barrels are choked Full and Fuller. This shotgun was most likely a trap gun used to train gunners in the Air Force but we cannot say this as 100% fact. This shotgun is a little loose with the forearm removed.
