We have used his description on the firearm.Winchester M70 standard .270 WCF, SN 118XXX, 50% orig blue and wood finish, ex bore, non orig Redfield peep sight and a blank in barrel slot and no hood. No cracks in wood and orig steel butt, has been hunted a lot but still very sound and useable Made in 1949 all orig except sights
