Description:
SN 10L2410 is a 1942 built Long Branch which shows the C broad arrow on the breech. This No 4 MK 1* shows a bright excellent bore. In 1953 this rifle was upgraded to a No 4 MK 1/3 at the ROF Fazakerley followed by a transfer and reissue in Pakistan. This piece shows two Pakistani modifications, being the noted cuts to the front and rear of the outer band and detente for the sight sued with the Spigot Grenade Launcher in addition to the installation of the stock reinforcing bolt. A less than common modified Long Branch No 4 MK 1*. FFL or C&R
