Description:
Serial #3378c, 9mm, 4” barrel with a very good bore that has some minor freckling within the grooves. This is a 1917 dated pistol that retains 90-92% of the original blue finish that has silvered at the muzzle and along the projecting edges and bearing surfaces of the toggle and bolt. Additionally, there is a very small amount of plum-brown freckling through the blue along the exposed metal and an unobtrusive import mark along the underside of the barrel. The components are nearly all matching with the exception of the hold-open which is numbered to a different pistol. The checkered wooden grips are numbered to the gun and have light-moderate wear with some minor flattening of the points on either side, mainly around the butt, as well as a small chip missing from the top of the left panel. A single unmarked wood base magazine is included and the pistol rates very good plus overall; a nice example of a World War I Luger. FFL or C&R
